A complete digital presence for a school in Trichy: admissions, academics, events and careers, plus a transport route check for families.
Context
Riti Vikash Vidhyalaya teaches from pre-school through senior classes in Trichy, with Montessori-based early years, science and language streams, music, arts and its own transport network. Parents comparing schools and families already enrolled both needed one trustworthy place for information.
The challenge
A school site serves two audiences with different intents: prospective parents evaluating institutions, and the existing community looking for practical answers about routes, events and admissions. The architecture had to serve both without burying either, and the practical parts had to be genuinely usable rather than a downloadable PDF.
The decisions
Admissions content is structured the way parents actually research: academics and courses, facilities, what the school offers day to day, then the admission route and contact.
The school's philosophy is presented with real substance, including its vision, mission and core values, because that is the deciding factor for the families it attracts.
Practical tools sit alongside the prospectus. Families can check whether school transport covers their area, and events and careers have their own sections instead of living on a notice board.
The engineering
React and Tailwind CSS on the front end with a Node.js and MySQL backend behind an authenticated login area, deployed on a VPS with Nginx. Search optimisation targets local school queries in and around Trichy, which is where the school's admissions traffic begins.
The outcome
The school has a digital presence that matches the seriousness of the institution. A parent can answer most of their questions, including whether the bus reaches their area, before the first phone call, and the school has somewhere of its own to publish events and open roles.
